The course covers some theoretical aspects of GIS, how to install QGIS, download GIS free data from the web, import the data in the software. Then you will learn how to create vector layers, apply basic spatial functions and create a map.

He also enjoys collaborating in new GIS projects. Mr Paul Nicoara studied map making at the bachelor level and geomatics at master level, at the University of Babes-Bolyai, Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
