This course offers a professional introduction to CloudFerro Managed Kubernetes. It covers the deployment, scaling and maintenance of clusters, as well as the efficient management of all resources.

Course description

The efficient orchestration of containers is one of the core competencies of modern IT infrastructures. This practical course offers a structured guide to the successful deployment and operation of managed Kubernetes clusters on the CloudFerro platform.

Starting with the fundamental prerequisites and cloud-based deployment, the course systematically guides participants through all administrative processes. The focus is on management via the graphical user interface, as well as on business-critical core concepts: the granular management of node pools, the implementation of autoscaling for cost optimisation, and the execution of secure version upgrades whilst the system is running.

What You will learn

  • Cluster Provisioning & Management

Thorough set-up of managed Kubernetes clusters, configuration of the control plane (master nodes) for high availability, and secure connection via local terminals using kubectl.

  • Dynamic resource management

Efficient capacity management of infrastructure through manual adjustments or automated autoscaling of node pools, as well as the implementation of incremental system upgrades without downtime.

  • Fault Analysis & Resource Validation

Centralised monitoring of the cluster’s status via the dashboard, in-depth analysis of resources in JSON format, and the initiation of comprehensive cluster backups.
